Beth Wellington

Biography

Beth Wellington is a Roanoke, Virginia-based poet and journalist. She is a contributing editor to the New River Free Press and edited its literary supplement, Appalachian Voices. She reviews books for the Roanoke Times and has been a member of the Southern Appalachian Writers Cooperative since 1980. She is a member of the Verbal Events collective, founded in 1985 after a residency with William Stafford at the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
