Hague’s Alive in Hard Country
SAWC member Richard Hague’s 2003 poetry collection, Alive in Hard Country, was named Book of the Year in Poetry for 2004 by the Appalachian Writers Association. Lives of the Poem, his extensive teaching and writing memoir/poetry collection is forthcoming from SAWC member Charlie Hughes’s Wind Publications in 2005.
